This issue of Border: Jurnal Arsitektur features eight articles addressing diverse topics in architecture and the built environment, ranging from neuroarchitecture and spatial quality in shaping women’s traumatic memories, temporary public space architecture at the Musi 2 Periodic Market in Palembang, and spatial segregation and façade maintenance along the Musi River Corridor. The issue also explores universal design for the elderly at Pan Pacific Singapore, placemaking evaluation at Taman Median Rusunawa Marunda, the vulnerability of educational facilities to the Lembang Fault earthquake, and hybrid heritage governance and the transformation of local regulations for colonial building conservation in Bandung’s Asia-Africa District. Completing the issue is a study on density mapping to identify Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) potential along KRL and BIAS railway corridors in Solo Raya, with authors from Indonesia and Australia, reflecting the journal’s growing international academic network and diverse perspectives on contemporary architectural issues.
